It is through the center of Comilla region. Known as an important center of Buddhist culture in 7 to 12-century building was excavated here were fully baked bricks. There are more than 50 scattered Buddhist sites, but three Salban Vihara, Kotila Mura and Mura Charpatra.Salban Vihara, almost in the middle of Main Amati Lalmai-Hill series consists of 115 cells. Built around a spacious courtyard with a cross in the middle of the temple complex is the only port in the north, as the Paharpur Monastery.Amati Main museum has a rich and varied collection of copper plates, gold and silver coins and 86 bronze objects. Over 150 bronze statues have largely recovered from the monastic community of cells, bronze stupas, stone sculptures and hundreds of terracotta plaques each measuring on an average of 9 "long and 8" 12 "in width.
